Unwanted POP-up and url's posted everytime Explore 6.0 executed

Here is my problem:
Everytime I start up Explorer 6.0, I get an unwanted popup
(from a porn site) but more importantly, I get a series of
URL's and desktop shortcut (and in the startup menu) for
dozen's of porn sites. It is the same thing and sites
every time. It even posts the icon to my desktop.

I have done everything I know to try to get rid of it
including repairing 6.0 (off of "My computer" - I'm still
running WIN98). Can anyone offer any suggestions on how
to get rid of this? It must be imbedded in Exp 6.0. I've
run Spybot, checked the MSconfig and Regedit. I'm out of
possibilities.

Thank you

Hi,
Go to: http://www.tomcoyote.org/hjt/
Download "Hijack This!" [freeware] or download direct (below):
http://www.merijn.org/files/hijackthis.zip

Unzip, double-click "HijackThis.exe" and Press "Scan".

When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log"
button.
Click: "Save Log" (generates: "hijackthis.log")

Next, go to the below location:
http://www.spywareinfo.com/forums/

Sign in, go to the "Spyware and Hijackware Removal" section.
Press "New Topic", copy and paste hijackthis.log into your new message.
