Unwanted lines on document printouts in word 2003

Brian l Wilson

Feint blue lines have appeared on document printouts. The lines are across
the text and co-incide with the upper edge of the Upper case characters on
each line. Line spacing is set at 1.0
This has appeared recently and I do not want or need them. They print in
blue and look like guide/grid lines of some kind but I can't find out how to
turn them off.
Can anyone help please?

Have you cleaned your print heads recently? This sounds like a printer
problem.

It was indeed a printer problem, both cartridges were changed and the problem
was resolved. Many thanks for the correct steer Graham.
