Hey guys, I opened up IE this week only to discover that there was a searchbar there that I'd never installed. I've tried Ad-Aware, Spybot and many others of these programs and none of them were successful. I even went to Msconfig and tried to configure my startup options thinking the ware might have been there. None of this worked. Please help.. thanks

Hi Matthew,

Try Toolbar Cop
http://www.mvps.org/sramesh2k/toolbarcop.htm

Download the utility CWshredder:
http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/files/cwshredder.zip

Unzip - close *all* instances of IE & OE, hit the executable and
follow
the prompts.

If these don't correct the problem, then get yourself a copy of
BHODemon, available at
http://www.definitivesolutions.com/bhodemon.htm .

It does not need installing - simply unzip and run the EXE program. It
is easy to use. It will find the hijackware DLL files, and give you
the ability to disable them.

Good luck
