Unwanted Favorites and Home Pages

I have a problem with certain websites adding themselves
to my favorites list. When I delete them, they are back,
the next time I log on.
Also, I cannot keep my home page to stay where I set
it. If I change it, under internet options, it just goes
back to some "off the wall" search engine site, the next
time I use the internet explorer.
Can someone please help me,. This is getting very
annoying to me.
