oldjay

When one and only one computer on our network opens a
program on our server it loads the program OK Before it
starts the Auto_open routine it displays a Excel message
box asking if we want to open another program If you
click cancel everything works OK

Can anyone tell me how to get rid of this message?

Hi
what other program does Excel tries to open (What is the exact message)

It sounds like the message is created from an add-in. What,
exactly, does the message say? Go to the Tools menu, choose
Add-Ins, and uncheck all selected add-ins. See if this resolves
the problem.

It is asking if you want to open an older version (with a
different name) of the workbook you have opened
I will tell you the exact message on Monday Thanks
