Unwanted Email Attachment

I have created a document (with Word) with a picture in the document. Then I
do: > File, > Send To, > Mail Recipient. When I look at the "Sent Items"
folder, it appears that it was sent just fine without an attachment. However,
when I look at my "Inbox" at the test email, it has an attachment of the
picture.

I want the email to be received with the picture in the email body and not
as an attachment. How do I do that?

You need to embed the image. See if something here helps:
