unwanted auto instal on restart

i am trying install drivers for my graphics card, so i
have to uninstall my old ones first, but ever time i
restart my computer windows xp automatical reinstall the
old driver. i have atuo update turned off.

Those are the base system 32 native drivers that come with xp.

If you have an Nvidia card, just install the new drivers over the native ones.
