Hi,
I shut down my pc last night and when I started it again this morning it
took about ten minutes to boot to desktop. Now I haven't loaded anything
onto my pc since it was last working perfectly and adaware, spybot and
antispy give me the all clear. My AV (Panda titanium) had stopped working
and I had to reinstall this with the updates. I subsequently ran a full scan
and there were no problems.
However I have noticed two entries in startup (msconfig>startup) these are
NVMCTRAY.DLL in upper case and NvMcTray.dll in mixed case. I ran a google
check and one article says that spyware can disguise itself by using one of
these file names. Is this true, if so which one of these is the spyware and
how do I get rid of it?
