Ever since the IBM 300GL computer/monitor (17") I'm using at work
(corporation) was "reimaged"* Monday, the Display settings keep
reverting to 800x600 (from 1024x768) after each shut (power) down. Just
restarting warm doesn't cause it. So far tech support, which has set up
and worked with thousands of these computers has not been able to figure
out what's causing this (phone and in person) and is checking around.
In the meantime, has any one come across this before with Windows and
figured out what to do? I've used many different computers, OS's and
monitors and never seen it.

* "Reimage" in this corporation's lingo means cleaning out the hard
drive and reinstalling everything, including OS, as is commonly done
when someone quits or transfers and their copumter is set up for a new
employee.
