Unused Button JPG files

How do I identify button JPG files that are no longer used.

I have a large table that has one column of buttons. The table gets modified regularly, including the buttons. For many of the updates FP builds 3 new button JPG files and apparently they get new names leaving the old files in the directory but now unused. It would be nice if FP would tell me which are unused as opposed to my having to identify them manually by going through the whole site.

Boyd,
Look for reports (under "view" I think) and look for "unused files". That
should help. I ran into this and would end up deleting a lot of files.
Note ... when you are prompted to save the new buttons, select "overwrite"
.... that might help reduce the number of files. If you are concerned that
you'll delete any validly used buttons, simply double click the buttons, in
the opened frontpage file and they will be reinstated.
Hope that helps.

If you are talking about interactive buttons, rather than using the default
names that FP gives them, rename them (when you save the page where you've
just inserted buttons, FP will prompt to save all the images, so rename them
to something meaningful, take a note of them (i.e. write the file names
down!) then you'll know and keep track of the buttons.

Also if you make a change to an existing button, choose the option
"Overwrite existing file", and that way it will save to the
file/button/image that already is previously saved, rather than creating a
new set of buttons. eg if you change your mind about the style or colour of
the I.B. then you can change it and resave it using the existing file name.
