unsolicted icons

I keep getting unsolicited icons added to my desktop and favorites list. I
run spyware,adware,antivirus programs but still the icons reappear when I
visit random sites.
Anyone have a suggestion

Your computer is not clean. Although you've run some antimalware
programs, I have no way of knowing what you used or your methods. Go
through these removal steps systematically, doing all preparatory work
