Unsolicited reboot

Well its my turn in the unsolicited reboot pool. Built the machine
myself at least 2.5 years ago. Worked from very first boot after
build till just yesterday.. no software has been added to the system.
It randomly reboots with no set time interval.

I have stopped auto reboot on error
and still reboots .

Nothing shows up in event log

Video temp 46C

Cpu temp 46C

All fans operational including Video

Ran memtest had no errors

Guess I'm looking at a powersupply. Currently running an EG-465P-VE
430

It's a valid consideration with you having checked out the memory and the
cpu temp being stable. Do you have the savy and/or courage to check the PS
voltages with a multimeter?

It is a realtively simple procedure to check it out, by disconnecting the PS
from the mb and the other cables as well, and then plugging one of the molex
connectors onto a spare or old hdd for a load, then using a paperclip to
connect pin #14 to ground (any black wire) and then reading the voltages on
four key pins.
Do a search on the Internet for testing an ATX power supply and you can
most likely certify whether your PS is running properly.
