Unsolicited File Explorer task appears in the taskbar

Windows XP Pro SP2

After booting, an unsolicited File Explorer task appears in the taskbar.
It points to C:\Program Files\ATI\Support
I do not see a shortcut in the Startup folder for All Users or my login
account.
I did a registry search but did not see anything obvious.
I'm not sure where all the places to look for that would activate it upon
boot.

Which part of the Taskbar? Quick Launch or the Notification Area?

Use Autoruns to find any unwanted start ups!

If you are running Windows Defender you can select "Tools-Software Explorer"
and manipulate running/startup applications from that facility too.
