unscheduled restart

My computer reboots after being idle for 15 minutes.
Everything that would normally do this has been disabled.
Updating the BIOS and reloading XP did not help.

Disabled aotu restart on system error. can not go

Sounds like a virus, have you scanned your computer with the latest updates
to your virus software?

Without intending to sound mean-spirited; In this day and age, if you don't
use virus protection, or keep it up to date, shame on you...you get what you
deserve.

You probably have an unwanted software installed. You need to use a removal
program like SpyBot search and destroy.
