unremovable spyware

my desktop wallpaper changed a few weeks ago to a safety warning informing
me to click on an icon to remove adware........ i know this is adware but i
cnat remove it with spybot or adaware or hijack this ive run norton 2003
(updated) and found no trace of spyware, adware or virus on my computer, ive
looked in my desktop wallpaper files to see if the wallpaper is hidden in
there but its not , has anyone got any suggestions on removal of this
annoying wallpaper , it did appear the same time as a program called
stopzilla witch i eventualy removed by disabiling it in my admistation
settings .......bit of info that i forgot to add the icon once clicked
directs me to the avg virus scanner site ............ thanks in advance for
anyhelp

Disable Active Desktop; Reset the rest of Desktop to Defaults/Classic.
