unreadable cd-rom

Hi all, In NT 4.0 I burned regularly my work onto a CD-RW using Adaptec
direct cd 3.01
All worked for years, until i decided to change OS into XP pro (sp1). Now,
these cd's have become unaccesible!
On 1 of these cd's, there's 5 years of work on it. Over 1000 pages of
preparationwork for the book i'm writing
Help surely is apreciated!

Check out the following article, you may be able to get software from Adaptec that will read the old CD format.
