Unread Mail in Favorites

Outlook 2003
Got a funny one here: Unread Mail doesn't show in Favorites. I can right
click and add it but when I close Outlook down it vanishes again.

Got a funny one here: Unread Mail doesn't show in Favorites. I can right
click and add it but when I close Outlook down it vanishes again.

This indicates that Outlook isn't actually closing properly. The next time
you close Outlook, use the Task Manager's Processes tab to see if OUTLOOK.EXE
appears or not. If it does, you have something keeping Outlook open and
preventing it from writing the changes to is configuration. See this, if this

Thanks for your reply but it doesn't seem to be the case. There's no Outlook
entry in the processes tab but it still doesn't save my change to the
favorites folder. Any other ideas?
