Just before the area where you want to place your esig - place a
continuous section break (assuming that it is on a page which includes
formfields.)
Then from the tools menu select Protect document. The Protect Document
task pane will open. In the Editing restrictions, select Filling in
forms. When that is selected an option will appear that will allow you
to click on it and select sections. Select all sections except the one
which contains the esig location. Then you can click on the Yes, Start
Enforcing Protection.

HELP - I need to allow people to insert their esignatures (jpg file) in a form.
I'm in Word 2003. Other responses relate to locking various sections, but I
can't get it to work on my computer.... what could I be doing wrong?
