Fill-in Form General Questions

I have a table in a section of the form that is unprotected, in order for
users to be able to type free text (formatting, etc). The 1st row of the
table is a header that I would like to protect so users can't modify it...
can it be done?

Yes, you can do this by splitting the table, then add a continuous section
break, add the text you want into you header row, then add protection to the
header row and finally delete the paragraph mark between the split rows and
turn your protection back on

Place the insertion point in the second row and then click Table | Split
Table (Word 97-2003) or click Table Tools Layout ribbon tab | Split Table
(Word 2007).

See also your other thread, "Table Size," in this newsgroup.
