Hi,

one of my staff unplugged the aircard from software setting.
basicaly hardware is still in the laptop, however he unplugged the hardware
from windows XP. (safe remove from system tray icon where the usb devices
shown)

Anyway, is there anychance, I can plug the hardware back in without opening
the computer. It is a laptop and aircard is very hard to get to it. I am
thinking, if there is registery setting that could be disabled or set to tell
computer that hardware is plugged back in

thanks

Have you tried:
Turning the computer off and just plugging it back in?
See if it's either automatically activated, or after a few seconds the
computer says it found new hardware and is installing it.
If it has its own power supply, that should be turned on before the
computer is, so the computer will know it's being added.
