unlocking a form in word

I created a form in word. After working on it all day yesterday, I click on
tools, protect document, input a password and saved the form. Today I opened
the form but I cannot work on it. I looked in the Tools and Protect Document
is not highlighted so I cannot enter my password. I tried looking in help
but unable to find how to unlock the form. Anybody please help
 
Thanks that's great IT WORKED.
It has opened my eyes to passwording word.
