Unlock a Form

Guest

I created a form in my old version of Word. I went to view/toolbars/forms -
and then locked the form so editing could not take place.

Now I have office 2007 and cannot for the life of me figure out how to
unlock the form so I can edit the document.

Please help!

You will need to go to the Developer Tab. (If you don't have that on, click
the Office Button, Select Word Options, and select the Popular Tab - place a
checkmark in Show Developer Tab in the Ribbon)

Then select Protect Document, found in the Protect Group. Select Restrict
Formatting and Editing. The 2003 Protection task pane will appear, and you
should be able to click the "Stop Protecting" button toward the bottom of
the pane.

Hope that helps.
