Hi,
A few days back, I posted an inquiry in this forum and got a reply from
someone. However, I could not apply that reply. Here is the story;
Under a domain name network, in Server 2003, when I use Remote Desktop
Connection, I get access to any user's desktop. However, when either I log
off or disconnect, that user can not logon to his system till I physically
visit his place, logon with admin credintials and log off again.
The suggestion from that gentleman was to disable Fast User Switching in
User Account applet. However, under a domain name, that option is not
available.
Therefore, I am seeking help on how to use RDC and still allow the user to
re-use his system the moment I log off.

Thanks
Yba

Disconnecting would definitely cause this. Are you sure you're actually
logging off? What's on the screen when you visit the desktop? Does it say
the computer is in use and has been locked? If so, you ain't logging off. If
you're selecting 'log off' and it isn't, check the event logs.

Well, I tired that on the fly and was not really sure of the message.
Anyway, it reads as if that logging off is the only way, even though I did
not really spend enough time to make sure things were all through.
I will recheck that and post again.

Thanks
Yahya
