Hello,

My DB is currently being used by fours users on the network using a shared
folder. My question is one of the users will no longer be using my DB and i
would like to DE-LINK or delete the front end off their desktop so they can
no longer have any icon or access.....is this as simple as drag and drop the
FE into the recycle bin?
I ask this because at home, i experimented with FE/BE and when trying delete
the FE, i had an icon appear with a lock on it that can not be deleted..error
message..it is being used by another program???Please advise.....thanks

If the front-end is a file on the users computer, as it should be, then
deleting the file will give the user no immediate interface to the back-end.
If the user knows what they're doing though, they may be able to create
their own front-end. If you really want to keep the user out, set the share
permissions on the folder that the back-end is in to deny that user access.
