Unkowng function error 3320

Hello

In my datefield name Date_actual I want to put the default value with ( )
now. When I put ( ) now in the field I cannot save the database and get this
error message: unkown function name intable-level validation expression?
My table has only 5 fields
PK ID_BARRERA_TRABAJO autonumber
CODIGO_BARRERAS text
SEG_SOC_PART text
DATE_GESTION date/time
DATE_ACTUAL date/time

Why can I not save the database?
Hope someone have a solution

Yes i want to put now() as default value in the field date actual and get
this message when want to save the database.
