unknown user password

hi, my kid was playing with my com and setup a password on my user name, i should have really restricted what he could do but anyways i'm locked out cos he don't know what he put in as the password and the clue is giberish,lol

anyone know anyway round this problem?? i would like to be able to save my file cos i have a year of work in the documents and re-installing will lose all my settings will it not?

It is possible to browse the ntfs file system with a boot disk from www.ntfs.com and copy it to a FAT32 drive such as a floppy or other drive formatted with fat32 only
