Unknown File on Desktop

Hello,
Can anyone tell me why I am continually having a tilde
(~) file appear on my desktop no matter how many time I
delete it? I haven't a clue what it is or how I can
stop it from reoccuring. Can anyone in this Newsgroup
advise me what to do or where I may be able to go for
help?? Thank you for your interest.

It's an OE bug. Sometimes OE makes a copy of your addressbook with
this odd title and forgets to delete it. You can delete it yourself,
but OE will eventually create it again.
