Does anyone know what this file is, or where it comes from or what it
does. I've Googled it and it comes up with the prevx.com site, but no
info.

Amy time you google the name of a file on your computer, and Google
gets no hits on it, it's almost guaranteed to be a random name created
by malware. It's a good bet that you are infected.

It could also be a remanent after some anti-spyware or anti-virus program
tried to get rid of the infestation.

Would help if you mentioned where you found this file. Malware usually
uses a randomized name, and HTGD0007 isn't really random characters. It
may be a temp file created by a legitimate installer.
