Unknown application running

Hi
My pc is running "something" in the background and I can't get it to stop.

I've run windows live care and Norton and they have not found a virus, but I
am convinced that something unwanted is in my pc.

Drop down menus dissapear because this thing is loading and it has probably
taken 20 mins to type this due to it.

Any suggestions on a fix?

What does Task Manager show taking up the processor/RAM?

Nothing really high except 52000 on Int explorer
