I would HATE to go back to my restore point and remove
media player 9. Is there any other way to actually
remove this beast without going back to my restore point.

Greg

don't know why you want to get rid of it, media player is
part of windows i think, just don't use it, try real
player, or download media player 8, it should work.

Your best option is not to use it!

I have to get rid of it, I cannot use streaming video on
a web page from it. I am trying to use
www.defensivedriving.com, but MP9 won't see their
streaming video. Can't figure that out either.

:) That's a sad best option. Why?
