Unique error accessing websites

I can access websites in Internet Explorer (versions 6 and 7)
without any issue.

However when I use software such as XBStream, Zune Marketplace, etc.
that uses Internet Explorer internally as a module (I'm assuming thats
how it accesses the browser) I get a "This program cannot access the
webpage" error.

HELP!

Thanks,
John

Hi John,

Check for updates from those software vendors. IE under XP has changed how
the Webbrowser control (the control that is embedded in these applications
to access the web) behave. Its a thing called Feature Control.

Regards.

Its not specific software, its every software that uses the control, I
also did check for updates as per your advice. Nada. :/

Any other ideas?
I even tried re-installing windows but still issues.
Didn't format or start with a brand new installation however, that I
know will work.
