Uninstalling

How does one uninstall winmail or at least prevent any further email from going
to winmail? I only want to return to my old email client and stop all the
duplicate and missing emails.

You can't uninstall windows Mail.
If you don't wish to use it, just remove all of the accounts from it.
 
Win Mail Tools | Accounts | Mail: select (highlight) your email account(s)
and press the REMOVE button.
