Uninstalling xp

I tried to upgrade my second PC with xp and after
numerous attempts I find that I can not. How do I
uninstall xp to reinstall Windows 98? It will not let me
get pass the activation code please help!!

Use a win98 bootdisk and delete the partition. Then reboot, and create a
new one. Reboot, format, then put on win98. Should work.

Greetings --

If you performed an upgrade from Win98/Me, elected to backup the
old system files, and didn't convert the partition to NTFS, then all
you need do is boot into Safe Mode and Start > Control Panel >
Add/Remove Programs. All of these conditions _must_ be met for the
uninstall option to be available.
