I need to Uninstall Windows XP. When I go into the
Add/Remove Programs section in the Control Panel, the XP
Uninstall option is not there. Any suggestions?

you can't just uninstall XP. especailly not from the
add/remove programs list (laughs). ok. XP is an OS
(Operating System). it's the thing that makes the computer
work. but if your replacing it with another OS or you want
to uninstall XP and put in a fresh copy (that means you
erase everything and put XP in like new) you would have to
put in the cd of the new OS, restart the computer, while
your in boot mode load into the cd and start formating the
hard drive, XP is now gone and your new OS is starting to
install.

Hi,
I need to Uninstall Windows XP.
Why?

Of course it's not, it would only be there if you originally upgraded a
Win9x system and certain conditions applied. To install any other Operating
System in favor of WinXP generally would require that you format (and
possibly repartition), then do a clean installation of the preferred
Operating System.
