Uninstalling Wireless Network

I have no use for it and never will. Trying to lighten up the file and
program load on the harddrive by getting rid of unneeded apps. How deeply is
this function interleaved, and will XP be completely messed if I uninstall
it? Any thoughts much appreciated. Thanks.

Best, Paul

Installing third-party WLAN software is mandatory when running an old
operating system like Win98/SE as well as the Aegis protocol driver,
however, that software is counter-productive when installed under WinXP.
Therefore, there is no important gain anyway when uninstalling the wire-
less network - actually you're talking about the WLAN adapter driver only.
