Uninstalling Windows XP

Computer with windows XP "professional" was given to my
family. The person did not remove the password prompt to
access desktop. This computer was used on a network. The
has user name administrator & password. How can I
uninstall XP and use windows 98? I have the Windows 98
setup CD.

1. Delete the Windows XP partition.
2. Create a new partition.
3. Format the new partition.
4. Install your desired Operating System.
