uninstalling windows XP professional

I recently installed XP professional upgrade to my XP
Home based system. Now my computer runs sooooooooooo
slow and freezes up about 10 times a day. How do I
uninstall Professional, and get back to my original OS
without having to reformat my C drive.?

Hi

Backup all the important data files first
Boot from the XP Pro CD and perform a clean installation, i.e. format the C drive and clean install XP Pro

XP Pro is much better than XP Home
I use it with my 6 years old PC and it works perfectly
CPU - PIII 500MHz Coppermine (overclocked to 667 MHz
256 MB PC13
Geforce Pro 32Mb 2X AGP vedio car
Sound blaster Live sound car
Asus P3V4X mobo
Buffallo 10/100 Lan car
