uninstalled windows XP Professional

My computer came with Windows XP Home Edition. I
installed XP Professional but it took up too much of my
memory. My system is very slow. It freezes often. When
I'm online the service is disconnected. I tried
uninstalling but it didn't work. I can't find xp home
edition at all. Is there a way to get rid of Xp Prof.
and go back to home edition?

If you get two options at the startup, and you still have the option to boot
into XP home use the info in the link below. If not, your options are
limited to possibly a repair install of XP Pro or a clean install of either
of the two version assuming both are valid versions.
You boot from the CD and do a clean install.
Click on or copy and paste the link below into your web browser address box.
I have two installations of Windows/Windows XP on the same partition.......

Hi:

Uninstall Pro and roll back to Home may cause serious and unpleasant
results, especially if you have installed other applications after you moved
to Pro.

Alternatively, you may wish to find out the causes of the slower performance
and other things.

You may wish to run Windows Update to get patches and fixes, run Spyware
protection software, anti-virus software, and clean up temp files,
defragment your hard disk, update BIOS and drivers, and so on, if you have
not done it yet.

You mentioned when you are online the service is disconnected, and what
service is that?

In any case, it is advised not to change the OS unless you have failed on
everything else, since it is a major operation to your system.

Hope this will help.
