Attempting to uninstall Office 2000 from a Win2k laptop.
Do not have the original install disk(s). The former user
installed the program and has since left the company. Have
tried using Add/REmove Programs but it does not give me
the option to uninstall, only the option to add features
or repair. The original installation has been corrupted
and I need to install a different version of office. Tried
reinstalling but since I do not have the original disks
that did not work either. Found a manual uninstall
procedure on the net that involved removing the Office
folders and editing the registry but that also did not
work.
Any suggestions short of reloading the operating system
would be appreciated.
