Uninstalling Kazaa

Hi to the group,
Hope someone can help. I recently helped a friend recover her xp home
system from multiple virus attacks (SWEN, NACHI, BLASTER etc) using Stinger,
fixblast etc.
Installed AdAware, Spybot and ran them to clear all spy/malware from the
system. Also, installed a firewall (Kerio).
Discovered Kazaa desktop installed and attempted to remove in Add/Remove
programs and couldn't, as a message kept popping up telling me that missing
dll file was preventing uninstall. So, I removed all of the file from the
program files area of the c: drive but still could not remove entry from
Add/Remove programs.
Should I reinstall Kazaa and try again or is there another way?

these file shareing programs will allways leave traces you
will never get rid of the complete program(without
spending days searching for the different keys ect.) your
better off running a counplete reinstall of the op.

Yes, just install it again. Then remove it. it's the easy way.

Unless u want to use regi edit.

Sounds easier than reinstalling OS. I didn't check but do you know if Kazaa
usually comes with it's own uninstaller?

Hi!
Reinstall kazaa then try to remove.Always better to use Regcleaner to
remove from junk registry.
