Uninstalling Internet Explorer

Internet Explorer does not show in the ADD/Remove program of the control panels? Therefore, I can not uninstall it. Any ideas what may be happenning?
 
In what operating system?
It may not show if you have not upgraded from a previous version.
If you have XP, then I wouldn't expect you to be able to uninstall it.
If you have a problem, then supply details.
