Uninstalling app from the device AND desktop

Hi!
I was able to build a setup project; install the needed the files, shortcuts
on the device; get the Help functionality working. All good. Now when I
remove the app using Activesync's Tools menu, the app is removed from the
device and not from the device. Now when I uninstall it from the Desktop's
control panel, it is uninstalled but then the Activesync's dialog pops up
showing the App's name in the list.

How can remove the app from the list if it has been removed from the device
and not from the desktop? I hope it wasn't too confusing. Any
suugestions/help would be great.

Thanks for your time!

Those two uninstalls are indepedent. You could modify the desktop uninstall
to force the device side uninstall, but that would require the device being
in the cradle. Keep in mind that even if you connect your device to a
machine where the desktop part is not installed, the application will still
be listed - the app list is collected from the device as well

I don't believe that "Designed for.." requires you to force uninstall from
the device when uninstalling from the desktop. Those two are entirely
separate. I'm not even sure you need to do 1). Basically you get the
uninstall from the device for free (unless you have to take care of extra
files/directories in which case you will need to write a CESetup.dll).
