uninstalled programs leave end trails in msconfig

I downloaded yahoo messenger (big mistake in the first place) and installed
it. I uninstalled it via add/remove programs practically right away. It's
not longer in a/r programs and I don't have a folder for it anywhere on my
system (not that I know of anyway) However, when I check msconfig, there is
still a startup entry for ypager. It shows the location in the registry, if
I remove that from the registry, will it no longer appear in MSconfig?

I hate programs that don't clean up after themselves.

rather than registry editing, you might want to look at startupcpl from
http://www.mlin.net/StartupCPL.shtml

which can actually =delete= startup entries (or move them around, or
temporarily disable them, or whatever you like).
