I have TurboTax 2008 installed on my computer and it has problems and won't
open. I have to remove through add/remove but the "Sorry Turbotax has a
problem... message come as soon as it tries to configure. The Turbotax
uninstall feature is missing from the program also. I have contacted Turobtax
"the dumbest support site I have ever had to deal with" and they keep sending
me the same answers to fix over and over. I don't think they even keep a
thrread on the issue.

So....what I would like help with is removing this program from my computer
the hard way. Can someone give me an idea how to do that and have it
completely gone? Any help would surely be appreciated.

Do an "Overlay" installation. Make sure the destination folder is the same
as
the original install. Once it's re-installed then use Add/Remove programs to
remove it.
