uninstall xp pro

how can i uninstall xp pro sp1 and go back to my previous version of
windows. Key problem i don't know if i still have the backup files for
98se because i do not remember what ms had me do since this was a very
problematic install resulting in severall cases with them just on the
upgrade.
 
Go to Add/Remove Programs and look for the option to uninstall Windows XP.
If that option is not there, you do not have a downgrade path and a Clean
Installation of Windows 98 will be necessary.
