uninstall WMM

hello all,
i want to remove WMM because I feel it's corrupt-and then re-install it...
however, when I goto addd/remove panel, it's not there- & I can't find any
information from microsoft.com, anyone helpme out?

It isn't there because it is part of SP2.
If you need to uninstall you can uninstall SP2 and use Microsoft update to
download and reinstall or you can try installing SP2 over itself by
installing manually from this site:

Thank you for that, the problem is the my xp is not english...could I just
use my orignal xp cd to repair the system? are there any pitfalls- would i
lose anything?

You could do a repair install if you wanted.
You would then need to use Microsoft Update to download ALL the critical
updates again.
Or you could uninstall SP2 and use Microsoft Update to reinstall just that
and the updates since.
