I can not answer your question, but am posting to ask "why bother
uninstalling it?
If you do not want it or use it why not just leave things as they are as by
removing it you will not make your system any faster or better?

well, firstly its a pile of junk and secondly I'm suspicious of some trouble it might be causing. I suppose I could leave it and
not touch it but problem is I already have and as a result I think its got its tentacles into my sound software and screwed thing
up. I was hoping that removal of it might put things back the way they were.
