My paint program is evidently damaged.
I can't select it on the remove software option.
Any suggestions on removing and/or reinstalling it?
Thanks.

Which paint program are you referring to? The mspaint program that is part
of WindowsXP? If so, there is no way to remove this application. However,
there may be another way to address your issue. What do you mean by
"evidently damaged"?

You can uninstall MS Paint if you go to...
Add-Remove Programs / Add-Remove Windows Components...

Go to...Accessories and Utilities (details button) /
Accessories ) details button)...Uncheck...Paint...
OK / OK / Next...Paint will be removed.

Reverse the process to reinstall it.
(your WinXP disk will be required)
