Uninstall Office 97

I installed Office 97 and it took out Windows Mail. I fixed that, and I want
to upgrade ot Office 2003, so I tried to uninstall 97. The setup program just
hangs when I attempt the uninstall. Tried it from control panel, same
problem. Tried to uninstall as I installed 2003, set up hangs. Any ideas
greatly appreciated! I really hope to avoid reinstalling Vista!

Try a custom install with your Office 97 disk. Uncheck everything. See
what happens. This is just a suggestion to try.
