Uninstall of express products when VS pro is installed

I am attempting to rid my system of the express products (2005). I have VS
2005 pro installed.

When I attempt to uninstall VB Express it takes about 20 seconds and while
it says it has uninstalled it , it can still be run. (must be a virtual
installl in the air around the workstation).

Now attempting to uninstall C# Express takes the oppostite route. After an
hour it is going no where. There is no disk activity, CPU activity.

Ok kill that (can't cancel from the dialog).

Try to uninstall VWD Express and it goes the VB Express route. Takes no
time to actually do nothing.

Any ideas and if there are MS people lurking PLEASE GET IT TOGETHER!!!

Did you reboot after deinstalling it?

RobinS.

Rebooted, and still there. Only C# Express now says it cannot even try to
uninstall since a file is missing.

maybe the solution is to go to your control panel, click on the express
version and do a full repair

after its repaired, uninstall it one by one.

I had vb express installed and sql express installed, and was able to do a
full uninstall and reinstall yesterday without problems. ( i had i different
issues )

That might work though - do a repair - and maybe do an uninstall one 1 at a
time with a re-boot in between.

After all another boot and then I can uninstall VB and VWD. C# still has a
problem.

MS Yeah Yeah Yeah
